“Source Aquatics,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the company operating sourceaquatics.ca and our physical retail location.

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian to use our website or purchase from us.

3. Livestock Sales Policies

All livestock purchases (including fish, shrimp, snails, invertebrates, and plants) are subject to our In-Store Livestock Policy and Shipping & DOA Policy.

A. All livestock sales are final.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once livestock leaves our store or is delivered.

B. Health at Time of Sale

We guarantee livestock is healthy at the time of purchase. After pickup or delivery, the customer assumes full responsibility for acclimation, tank conditions, and ongoing care.

C. Compatibility & Advice

We provide guidance, but customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Tank readiness

  • Water quality

  • Species compatibility

  • Long-term care

We cannot guarantee animal behavior, survival, or compatibility once added to your aquarium.

4. Dry Goods Sales (Equipment & Supplies)

A. Returns & Exchanges

Dry goods may be eligible for return or exchange under the conditions described in our Refund & Return Policy (if applicable).

B. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may include manufacturer warranties. These must be handled directly with the manufacturer unless otherwise stated.

5. Online Ordering

When placing an order on sourceaquatics.ca, you agree that:

A. Information Accuracy

You must provide accurate personal, contact, and shipping information.

We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

B. Payment

Orders are charged at the time of purchase.
We accept payments through secure third-party processors such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or others displayed at checkout.

We do not store credit card information.

C. Order Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders due to:

  • Inventory errors

  • Shipping restrictions

  • Animal health concerns

  • Payment issues

  • Suspected fraud

If an order is cancelled, you will be notified and refunded for the unavailable item(s).

  • Livestock losses after purchase

  • Issues caused by improper acclimation or tank conditions

  • Damage to equipment due to misuse or incorrect installation

  • Delays or errors caused by shipping carriers

  • Compatibility issues between livestock

  • Tank crashes or system failures

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Aquarium keeping involves risk, and results depend on the customer’s care, environment, and experience.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with website functionality

  • Upload harmful code or attempt unauthorized access

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes

  • Harass or abuse staff through any communication channel

11. Third-Party Services
